Certificate III in Carpentry is a two-year trade qualification that teaches students the skills and knowledge required to work as a carpenter. In this course you will study principles of building construction, carpentry equipment & tools, installing, and repairing products made from timber and non-timber materials, using hand & power tools, and many more.

Certificate III in Cabinet Making & Timber Technology is a two-year undergraduate course that teaches students the practical skills and knowledge to work as a cabinet maker. In this course you will learn skilled in making and repairing fine timber products using solid timber, flat-panel or timber-based materials.
Additionally, you will also learn how to design dining and bedroom suites, antiques and office furniture, manufacture and installation of kitchen and bathroom fittings.

International students who graduate from the trade courses are eligible to apply for a temporary graduate visa, which allows them to live and work in Australia for up to 2 years. On this graduate visa, students need to work for 12 months to pass a skill assessment through the Job Ready Program (JRP).
The Job Ready Program (JRP) is also known as the employment-based skills assessment program developed by Trades Recognition Australia (TRA). Enrolling in this program gives applicants an opportunity to demonstrate their skills and job readiness in an Australian workforce. After successfully completing the JRP with a positive skills assessment, applicants are eligible to apply for PR through several skilled migration visas
