Can I Get PR After Completing Kitchen Management and Hospitality Course?

To apply for PR, the course you currently enrolled in must be CRICOS registered, and your occupations must be on the Australia medium and Long-term Strategic Skills List (MLTSSL). Occupations such as “Chef” are on the MLTSSL list which increase the chances of obtaining skilled migration visas. 

If your occupation is recognized by Trades Recognition Australia (TRA), you must enroll in Job Ready Program through TRA. In the program you must complete at least 12 months of full-time or equivalent paid employment. Completing this program will help you obtain a positive skill assessment which makes you eligible to apply for several skilled migration visas, such as: 

  • Subclass 186 - Employer Nomination Scheme (ENS) visa 
  • Subclass 189 - Skilled Independent (points-tested) visa
